My name is Andrew Hudson. I am a senior Anthropology major. After looking over the different areas and themes, I am interested in studying more about SE Asia w/ regards to warfare. Warfare has always been part of complex societies. SE Asia in particular is interesting to me in this regard because of its history. Genghis Khan controlled that part of the world because of the addition of the bow and arrow. It is also the region where gunpowder was invented. Both of these inventions had large effects not only in SE Asia, but also around the world.
